Account & Data Deletion

In accordance with Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v) and Google Play Data Safety Policies, LinguaCue provides both direct in-app account deletion and this web deletion portal.

Option 1: Instant In-App Deletion (Recommended)

If you have access to the LinguaCue application on your iOS or Android device, you can delete your account instantly:

1. Open the LinguaCue application.
2. Tap the Settings tab in the bottom navigation.
3. Scroll down to the DATA & PRIVACY section.
4. Tap "Delete Account" and confirm the prompt.

Your account, authentication record, cloud review history, and personalized cards will be deleted immediately from Firebase Firestore and Authentication.

Option 2: Web Deletion Request Form

If you uninstalled the application or no longer have access to your device, submit the deletion request form below with the email address linked to your LinguaCue account:

I understand that this action is permanent and cannot be undone. All review history, card mastery, and custom study settings will be erased.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account?

• Authentication Credentials: Your Firebase Auth record (Email/UID) is permanently deleted.
• Cloud Firestore Decks & SRS Metrics: All study logs, retention states, stability parameters, and card history are permanently purged.
• Local Data: If you reinstall the app, you will start with fresh, default decks as a guest.
• Subscriptions: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel active App Store or Google Play subscriptions. Please cancel any active subscriptions in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
